The delegation of the Orthodox Church of Greece headed by His Eminence Dionisie, Metropolitan of Corinth arrived in Bucharest this morning bringing with him the Icon of Saint Empress Helen in which particles of the Holy Wood of the Holy Cross and relics of the Saint are kept, as well as the Miracle Worker Icon of Saint Emperor Constantine the Great.
The guest was received by His Eminence Metropolitan Nifon, Archbishop of Targoviste and by His Grace Siluan, Orthodox Bishop of the Romanians of Hungary, together with priests, deacons, and faithful.
After meeting the delegation a polichronion service was celebrated in the official hall of Henri Coanda Airport of Bucharest.
To end with, His Eminence Metropolitan Nifon welcomed the Metropolitan of Corinth in Romania. His Eminence Dionise thanked in his turn and spoke both about the Saints Emperors and about the Holy Cross.
