On 16 and 17 August 2014, 300 years since the martyr\u2019s death of the Brancovean Saints<\/em> (1714 \u2013 2014<\/em>), the Romanian Patriarchate and the Archdiocese of Bucharest organise the next religious and cultural manifestations:<\/p>\n

Saturday, 16 August 2014, the celebration day of the Brancovean Saints Martyrs<\/em><\/strong>, at 8.30 hours, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel together with some other hierarchs will bless the new mural painting<\/em><\/strong> and the works<\/em> of the church of Saint George the New<\/em> of Bucharest, one of the most representative foundations where the relics of Saint Martyr Prince Constantine Brancoveanu are kept.<\/p>\n

Then, at 9.30 hours, the Patriarch of Romania will celebrate the Divine Liturgy<\/em> on a podium specially arranged near the church of Saint George the New,<\/em> assisted by a group of Romanian hierarchs and hierarchs delegates of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, Patriarchate of Alexandria, Patriarchate of Antioch, Patriarchate of Jerusalem and of the Patriarchate of George, Churches which Saint Constantine Brancoveanu helped a lot. To end with the Divine Liturgy<\/em>, the Commemorative Synodal Act marking 300 years since the martyr\u2019s death of the Brancovean Saints <\/em>will be read.<\/p>\n

Sunday, 17 August 2014,<\/em><\/strong> 7.30<\/em><\/strong> hours, a procession with the relics of Saint Prince Martyr Constantine Brancoveanu <\/em><\/strong>will take place from the church of Saint George the New<\/em> of Bucharest up to the church of Saint George<\/em> in the precincts of the Brancovean Historical Ensemble of Mogosoaia<\/em> to be venerated by clergy and faithful.<\/p>\n

Then, at 9.30<\/em><\/strong> hours, the hierarchic Divine Liturgy<\/em> will be celebrated, and at 11.30<\/em><\/strong> hours, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel will bless the restored painting of the church of Saint George Mogosoaia<\/em><\/strong> together with some other hierarchs.<\/p>\n

The shrine of the relics of Saint Martyr Prince Constantine Brancoveanu will remain at Saint George<\/em> church of Mogosoaia till around 15.00<\/em><\/strong> hours, when it is brought back to the church of Saint George the New<\/em> of Bucharest.<\/p>\n

Sunday evening, 18.30<\/em><\/strong> hours, the vocal symphonic concert<\/em><\/strong> entitled “Honour to the Brancovean Saints Martyrs”<\/em> will take place at the Romanian Atheneum<\/em>, performed by Tronos<\/em> psalmic group of the Romanian Patriarchate, conducted by Rev Archdeacon Mihai Buca, Accoustic<\/em> chorus and by the Metropolitan Orchestra<\/em> of Bucharest, conducted by Mr Daniel Jinga<\/em>.<\/p>\n
