His Grace Joanikije, Bishop ofBudimlja \u2013 Nik\u0161i\u0107 within the Metropolis ofMontenegro, Serbian Patriarchate, will participate, from 30 September to 04 October 2015 in the cultural and spiritual events organized by the Bishopric of Caransebe\u015f, on the invitation of His Grace Lucian, Bishop of Caransebe\u015f, and with the blessing of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romania. The visit is occasioned by the 150th anniversary of the Bishopric of Caransebe\u015f from its establishment, and in order to strengthen the inner-eparchial brotherly relations.<\/p>\n
Given the fact thatthe Romanian Patriarchate declared the year 2015, asa Commemorative Year of Saint John Chrysostom and of the Great Spiritual Shepherds within Eparchies<\/em>, His Grace Bishop Joanikije will bring to be venerated in the Bishopric of Caransebe\u015f the relics ofSt Apostle and Evangelist Luke, from the Kosijerevo<\/em> Monasterywithin the Metropolis of Montenegro.<\/p>\n The Montenegrin delegation, led by His Grace Bishop Joanikije, will be received on Wednesday, 30 September 2015, at the Eparchial Cathedralthe Resurrection of Christ<\/em>in Caransebe\u015f.<\/em>On this occasion, a Te Deum<\/em> service will be officiated in the Cathedral.<\/p>\n On 01 October 2015, on the patronal feast of C\u0103lug\u0103ra<\/em> Monastery, the oldest monastic settlement of the Bishopric of Caransebes, His Grace Bishop Lucian and His Grace Bishop Joanikije, assisted by an assembly of priests and deacons, will officiate at the Divine Liturgy, in the church\u2019s outdoor altar. In the evening, the Montenegrin delegation will visit the oldest Romanian theatre and two historical churches in Oravi\u0163a.<\/p>\n On Friday, 02 October 2015, the Montenegrin delegation will visit the Serbian monasteries of Danube\u2019s Canyon (Bazia\u0219, Cusici and Zlati\u021ba), along with His Grace Lukijan, Serbian Orthodox Bishop of Budapest and administrator of Tim\u015foara Serbian Diocese, and his Grace Lucian, Bishop of Caransebe\u015f. In the same day, the delegation will also visit Nera<\/em> Monastery, the largest monastic community in Banat, namely, as well as the Oncologic Recovery Clinic in Slatina Nera town, held by the monastic settlement.<\/p>\n On Sunday, 04 October 2015, Their Graces Bishops Joanikije and Lucian, assisted by an assembly of clergymen, will officiate at the Divine Liturgy at the Eparchial Cathedralthe Resurrection of Christ<\/em>in Caransebe\u015f.
