Tuesday, 1 December 2015, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church received the first carol singers of the year, the music group of the Christian Orthodox Students Association \u2013 Baia Mare branch. The singers sang traditional carols from Maramure\u015f region.<\/p>\n
At the end, the Patriarch of Romania spoke about the importance of carols and traditional costumes: \u201cThe feast of the Nativity of the Lord is a time when every Christian is preparing through prayer, Confession, Holy Communion, as well as generosity. This is why the carol singers remind the great truth that Jesus Christ is the Gift of God for human beings, to which the human beings must answer with gifts of the spiritual generosity for children and for those in need.
