From 6 \u2013 11 July 2016, Symbol chorus of children and young people of the Romanian Patriarchate participated in the \u201cClaudio Monteverdi\u201d International Choral Festival of Venice, Italy.<\/p>\n
Choral groups from Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Indonesia and Romania participated in this edition.<\/p>\n
\u201cSymbol\u201d chorus competed in the categories for \u201cchoruses of children and young people\u201d and \u201cchoruses of sacred music\u201d having been awarded the gold medal at both. Selected by the jury to compete for the Grand Prix too, \u201cSymbol\u201d chorus was awarded the silver medal, as the Grand Prix was awarded to the chorus from Indonesia. A well deserved holyday at Covasna follows for us, and in September we shall resume the rehearsals. We announce, on this occasion, that on 17 September we shall have a new session of selection, deacon prof Jean Lupu, director of Symbol Chorus said. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
In 2015, Symbol <\/em>chorus celebrated 25 years of existence. Set up in the first year of freedom of the Romanian people, Symbol <\/em>chorus conquered, throughout two decades and a half, the audience both from our country and from abroad.
