The following Romanian hierarchs concelebrated:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>His Eminence Teodosie, Archbishop of Tomis;<\/li>\n<li>His Eminence Varsanufie, Archbishop of R\u00e2mnic;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Nicodim, Bishop of Severin and Strehaia;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Andrei, Bishop of Covasna and Harghita;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Sebastian, Bishop of Slatina and Romana\u0163i;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Visarion, Bishop of Tulcea;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Gurie, Bishop of Deva and Hunedoara;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Ilarion of F\u0103g\u0103ra\u015f, Assistant Bishop to the Archdiocese of Sibiu;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Paisie of Lugoj, Assistant Bishop to the Archdiocese of Timi\u015foara;<\/li>\n<li>His Grace Emilian of Lovi\u015fte, Assistant Bishop to the Archdiocese of R\u00e2mnic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Metropolitan Irineu of Oltenia delivered a homily referring to the example of Christian living offered by Saint Gregory the Decapolite.<\/p>\n<p>The holy relics of Saint Gregory the Decapolite were placed for veneration in front of the katholikon church under the steeple of the monastery.<\/p>\n<p>A foundation of the Craiovescu boyars, Bistri\u0163a Monastery dates back around 1490. The Chrysobull of donation, the first document of the Monastery is dated 16 March 1494 and belongs to Prince Vlad the Monk.
