Priests, deans and diocesan advisers from the Metropolis of Bessarabia met Thursday with representatives of the Archdiocese of Ia\u015fi. The meeting held on Jan. 26 aimed at strengthening the collaboration between the ministrants and faithful of the Romanian Orthodox Church on the two banks of Prut River, doxologia.ro reported.<\/p>\n
Before the meeting, His Eminence Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bukovina, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saint Sava<\/em> Church in Ia\u015fi. His Eminence delivered a homily focusing on national and faith unity of Romanians.<\/p>\n Next, a communication session was held at St Nicholas<\/em> College in Ia\u015fi. Participants discussed twinning between parishes, book exchange and an exchange of pilgrimages.
