On hearing the Feb. 17 death of Lidia St\u0103niloae, daughter of the renowned Romanian Theologian Rev. Dumitru St\u0103niloae, Patriarch Daniel sent a telegram Friday expressing his deep sympathy to her son, Mr\u00a0Dumitru Ionescu.<\/p>\n
We have learned with deep sadness about the repose of Mrs Lidia St\u0103niloae, venerable heiress of Rev. Prof. Dumitru St\u0103niloae, worthy daughter of the Romanian Orthodox Church, distinguished person of culture and erudite writer.<\/p>\n
We assure you of our entire compassion in these difficult moments for you and for all those who have known and cherished her.<\/p>\n
