Attending the event was His Eminence Iosif, Romanian Orthodox Metropolitan of Western and Southern Europe.<\/h4>\n<p>The book launch was held at the Holy Archangels Cathedral in Paris, where after a short prayer Bernard le Caro, who coordinates the new <em>Doxologie<\/em> collection of the Apostolia Publishing House, and Fr Makarios presented the volume that gives mystical explanations to the liturgical time of Great Lent.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"890\" height=\"501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9ugtfd0KcD0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The book points to the fact that the Lenten Season is related to the fundamental mystagogical dimension of the liturgic time.<\/p>\n<p>The author stresses that the Great and Holy Week is present in any time and aspect of the Great Lent.<\/p>\n<p>Hieromonk Makarios is of French origin and lives at the Athonite Monastery of Simonopetra.
