On 29 May 2018, the National Bank of Romania will put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, a gold coin dedicated to 100 years since the end of World War I.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Obverse: <\/strong>the commemorative cross of Romanian heroes of World War I on Caraiman Peak, the inscription \u201cROMANIA\u201d in an arc, the face value \u201c100 LEI\u201d, the coat of arms of Romania and the year of issue \u201c2018\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reverse: <\/strong>the scene of King Ferdinand I and Queen Maria riding into Bucharest; the inscriptions \u201c100 DE ANI DE LA INCHEIEREA PRIMULUI RAZBOI MONDIAL\u201d and \u201c1918\u201d.<\/p>\n

The gold coins are individually housed in transparent plastic capsules and are accompanied by leaflets featuring a presentation of the numismatic issue in Romanian, English and French. Each leaflet comes with a certificate of authenticity bearing the signatures of the Governor and the Chief Cashier of the National Bank of Romania.<\/p>\n

The mintage of this issue is 250 gold coins.<\/p>\n

The selling price is lei 1,705.00, VAT excluded, per gold coin, including the leaflet.<\/p>\n

The gold coins dedicated to 100 years since the end of World War I <\/em>are legal tender on the territory of Romania.<\/p>\n

The gold coins will be put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, through the regional branches of the National Bank of Romania in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Ia\u0219i and Timi\u0219oara.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
