{"id":200101,"date":"2018-07-31T15:27:03","date_gmt":"2018-07-31T12:27:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/basilica.ro\/?p=200101"},"modified":"2018-07-31T15:28:06","modified_gmt":"2018-07-31T12:28:06","slug":"greek-orthodox-orphanage-burned-in-deadly-greek-fire-to-be-supported-by-ecumenical-patriarchate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arhiva.basilica.ro\/en\/greek-orthodox-orphanage-burned-in-deadly-greek-fire-to-be-supported-by-ecumenical-patriarchate\/","title":{"rendered":"Greek Orthodox Orphanage burned in deadly Greek fire to be supported by Ecumenical Patriarchate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew urged last Thursday the orthodox communities from Istanbul to collect economic support that will be offered to the fire-stricken \u201cLyreio Children\u2019s Institution &#8211; Orthodox Village,\u201d whose headquarters are in Neo Voutsa. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, His All-Holiness exhorts all of the Ecumenical Patriarchate\u2019s Archdioceses and Metropolises throughout the world, as well as every believer and person of goodwill, to contribute toward the relief of those affected in any way they deem fit and in accordance with their own abilities.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fecumenicalpatriarchate%2Fposts%2F10156569425594158&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"268\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h4>The Greek Orthodox Orphanage damaged by the deadly fires<\/h4>\n<p>An Orthodox orphanage was seriously damaged by the deadly fires that hit eastern Attica last Monday.<\/p>\n<p>45 kids were forced to evacuate before the flames engulfed the premises of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lyreioidryma.gr\/index-fire.html\">Lyrio Children Foundation<\/a>\u00a0based in the village of Neos Voutzas.<\/p>\n<p>They are temporary housed in other children\u2019s institutions in the area.
