The Orthodox faith has been a uniting force in the history of the Romanian people and in the shaping of its national and spiritual identity, something that this conference also aims to highlight.

Conference partners

Archdiocese of Timișoara – Education Sector

Cambridge Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies

PEMPTOUSIA & St Maxim the Greek Institute, Athens

Faculty of Letters, History and Theology – West University of Timisoara

Romanian Academy – Timisoara Branch

Key topics:

Orthodox Mariology in Patristic Theology and in Byzantine, Syriac, Coptic Hymnology, Iconography and Hagiographies;

Rev.
