Be of one mind!\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate departed Monday morning, November 26, from the Henri Coanda International Airport to Istanbul, concluding the visit of His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Romania.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Be of the same mind!<\/h4>\n<p>The last words addressed by the Ecumenical Patriarch to Romanians were cited from St Paul\u2019s second epistle to Corinthians, \u2018Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice. Become mature, be encouraged, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>During his three-day visit to Romania, His Holiness stressed the importance of the unity of faith and nation of Romanians materialized in the National Cathedral dedicated to the national heroes.<\/p>\n<h4>This is what the visit included<\/h4>\n<p>His Holiness appreciated \u2018the untiring efforts to build the Romanian People\u2019s Salvation Cathedral,\u2019 which was \u2018the century-long dream, the high aspiration of the entire well-believing Romanian people, the fervent desire of Kings Carol I and Ferdinand, of the country\u2019s recent presidents, as well as of all the Primates of the Church of Romania in this period.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>During his stay in Bucharest, the Ecumenical Patriarch visited the Patriarchal architectural ensemble on the Hill of Joy, the <a href=\"http:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/in-pictures-ecumenical-patriarch-bartholomew-visits-greek-embassy-in-bucharest\/\">Embassies of Turkey and Greece<\/a>, <a href=\"basilica.ro\/en\/ecumenical-patriarch-bartholomew-patriarch-daniel-meet-with-romanian-president-klaus-iohannis\/\">Cotroceni Palace<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/hah-ecumenical-patriarch-bartholomew-visits-basilica-media-centre-of-the-romanian-patriarchate-video\/\">Basilica Media Centre<\/a> of the Romanian Patriarchate.<\/p>\n<p>The main event during his visit was the <a href=\"http:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/consecration-ceremony-of-romania-national-cathedral\/\">consecration of the National Cathedral<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>A pure and tested friendship with Patriarch Daniel<\/h4>\n<p>His Holiness expressed his \u2018feelings of love and fellowship\u2019 to the Patriarch of Romania.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We are connected to His Beatitude with our old personal, pure and sincerely tested friendship, but also with the unshaken, brotherly love in Christ and good understanding,\u2019 <a href=\"http:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/the-arsenal-hill-turned-into-the-hill-of-grace-and-blessing-for-the-entire-romania-ecumenical-patriarch\/\">he said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Read also: <a href=\"http:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/the-arsenal-hill-turned-into-the-hill-of-grace-and-blessing-for-the-entire-romania-ecumenical-patriarch\/\">The Arsenal Hill turned into the hill of grace and blessing for the entire Romania: Ecumenical Patriarch<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Photography courtesy of Mircea Florescu \/\u00a0<strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Basilica.ro<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate departed Monday morning, November 26, from the Henri Coanda International Airport to Istanbul, concluding the visit of His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Romania.
