In Romania, the Palm Sunday Procession dates back to the interwar period, but was banned by the communists in 1948.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The traditional procession restarted in 2008 with the blessing of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.<\/p>\n

Pointing to this religious manifestation, Patriarch Daniel stressed that it is both a reminder of the Entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem and a profession of faith.<\/p>\n
