The National Bank of Romania has put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, a set of three coins made of gold, silver and copper-plated tombac dedicated to\u00a0the Completion of the Great Union \u2013 Alexandru Marghiloman<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The coins have the following technical characteristics:<\/p>\n

Obverse of the gold coin:<\/strong>\u00a0the image of the Country Council building in Chi\u0219in\u0103u, where the union of Bessarabia with Romania was voted on 27 March 1918, in the presence of a Romanian delegation headed by Prime Minister Alexandru Marghiloman; the inscription \u201cROMANIA\u201d in an arc, the face value \u201c100 LEI\u201d, the coat of arms of Romania and the year of issue \u201c2019\u201d.<\/p>\n

Obverse of the silver coin:<\/strong>\u00a0the image of the Country Council building in Chi\u0219in\u0103u, where the union of Bessarabia with Romania was voted on 27 March 1918, in the presence of a Romanian delegation headed by Prime Minister Alexandru Marghiloman; the inscription \u201cROMANIA\u201d in an arc, the face value \u201c10 LEI\u201d, the coat of arms of Romania and the year of issue \u201c2019\u201d.<\/p>\n

Obverse of the copper-plated tombac coin:<\/strong>\u00a0the image of the Country Council building in Chi\u0219in\u0103u, where the union of Bessarabia with Romania was voted on 27 March 1918, in the presence of a Romanian delegation headed by Prime Minister Alexandru Marghiloman; the inscription \u201cROMANIA\u201d in an arc, the face value \u201c1 LEU\u201d, the coat of arms of Romania and the year of issue \u201c2019\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reverse, common to all coins:<\/strong>\u00a0the portrait of Alexandru Marghiloman, the inscription \u201cALEXANDRU MARGHILOMAN\u201d in an arc and his birth and death years, \u201c1854\u201d and \u201c1925\u201d.<\/p>\n

The mintage of this issue is 300 sets of three coins (made of gold, silver and copper-plated tombac).<\/p>\n

The selling price is lei 2,090.00 lei, VAT excluded, per set of three coins, including the leaflet.<\/p>\n

The gold, silver and copper-plated tombac coins dedicated to\u00a0the Completion of the Great Union \u2013 Alexandru Marghiloman\u00a0<\/em>, are legal tender on the territory of Romania.<\/p>\n

The sets of three coins dedicated to\u00a0the Completion of the Great Union \u2013 Alexandru Marghiloman<\/em>\u00a0into circulation, for numismatic purposes, through the regional branches of the National Bank of Romania in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Ia\u015fi, and Timi\u015foara.<\/p>\n
