These programmes were also mentioned by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel in a <a href=\"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/minoritatea-romilor-de-la-robie-la-libertate-si-speranta\/\">message<\/a> occasioned by the 160<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the Emancipation of the Gypsies in the Romanian Principalities in 2016.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Institutions for Orthodox mission in the Romani community<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>The R\u00e2mnic Archdiocese\u2019s Catechetical Office for Roma people<\/li>\n<li>The Social Missionary Cultural Orthodox Association for Roma People \u2018Saint Moses the Black\u2019, Cluj Archdiocese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Health care programs<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sastipen le rromenqe \u2013 Health of Roma people Program (R\u00e2mnic Archdiocese)<\/li>\n<li>Free medical assistance in the \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/?s=health+for+villages\">Good Health for Villages<\/a>\u2019 campaign of the Romanian Patriarchate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Encouraging (religious) education in Romani language<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Printing prayer books and other religious books in Romani language<\/li>\n<li>Offering free schoolbags and school supplies as part of the Mirro ghiozdano (My schoolbag) Program (R\u00e2mnic Archdiocese)<\/li>\n<li>Preventing school drop-out by including Roma students in the <a href=\"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/?s=choose+school\">Choose School! Program<\/a> (Romanian Patriarchate in partnership with World Vision Romania)<\/li>\n<li>Providing distinct places for Roma students in Theological Schools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Encouraging the ordination to the Priesthood of theology students of Roma origin to shepherd the Romani communities<\/strong>.
