{"id":297055,"date":"2020-10-29T09:57:57","date_gmt":"2020-10-29T07:57:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/?p=297055"},"modified":"2020-10-29T09:57:57","modified_gmt":"2020-10-29T07:57:57","slug":"cultural-tour-of-160-wooden-orthodox-churches-launches-in-romania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arhiva.basilica.ro\/en\/cultural-tour-of-160-wooden-orthodox-churches-launches-in-romania\/","title":{"rendered":"Cultural tour of 160 wooden Orthodox churches launches in Romania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"os\" data-enum=\"p3\" data-field=\" paragraph\"><strong>A tourist-cultural route of wooden churches in Romania was officially launched on Tuesday, October 27, at an event dedicated to the protection and cultural valorization of the historical monument of the wooden church in Valea Cri\u0219ului, Bihor County.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"os\" data-enum=\"p4\" data-field=\" paragraph\">The event was attended by representatives of the local public administrations registered in the cultural route and the Orthodox Dioceses of Oradea and of Maramure\u0219 and Satu Mare, which were officially recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Energy, and Business Environment at the event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"os\" data-enum=\"p5\" data-field=\" paragraph\">More than 160 wooden churches and monasteries are included in the route: 10 in Bihor County, 13 in Cluj County, more than 100 in Maramure\u0219 County, 10 in Satu Mare County, 16 in Suceava County, 16 in Neam\u021b County, and 2 in Mehedin\u021bi County. The route is open to other counties that want to include their wooden monuments as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"os\" data-enum=\"p6\" data-field=\" paragraph\">Ministry officials described the route as \u201ca journey through time, over hundreds of years of history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"os\" data-enum=\"p7\" data-field=\" paragraph\">The sights included in the route highlight the essence of the Romanian community spirit and its artistic creativity, found in the decorative, pictorial, and conceptual style.
