The National Athenaeum in Ia\u0219i inaugurated a photo exhibition in her honour.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"os\">The memorial service was held in the Artists\u2019 Chapel of the Athenaeum and attended by the institution\u2019s management, employees, and collaborators. All the reposed members of the Romanian Royal Family were commemorated.<\/p>\n<p>The photo exhibition presents snapshots from Mother Alexandra&#8217;s life as HRH Princess Ileana of Romania and it can be visited until February 15. Entrance is free.<\/p>\n<h5>MOTHER ALEXANDRA<\/h5>\n<p>Princess Ileana of Romania, who later became Mother Alexandra, was born on January 5, 1909, as the youngest daughter of King Ferdinand I the Unifier and Queen Marie of Romania. She inherited her princely title by birth.<\/p>\n<p>She passed away aged 82, as Mother Alexandra, on January 21, 1991, at St Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.
