of the Ecumenical Patriarchate following a fire that broke out at the Matei Bal\u015f National Institute for Infectious Diseases in Bucharest.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We pray for the rest of the souls of the innocent victims and for the comfort from God of their relatives, as well as for the speedy recovery of the wounded,&#8221; the Patriarch of Constantinople wrote in his letter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We suffer together with the sister Church of Romania and with the entire pious Romanian people,&#8221; noted the Ecumenical Patriarch who offered prayers for the Romanian people &#8220;that the God of love and mercy may protect them from all danger and give them all the perfect gift and all the blessing from above.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the Ecumenical Patriarch wished the Patriarch of Romania &#8220;health for many years&#8221;
