The average age of Romanian residents in Spain was 38 years. Source: G4media<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On July 1, 2020, the National Institute of Statistics estimated the population of Spain at 47,351,567 people.<\/p>\n<p>In order to support the Romanians in Spain, the Romanian Patriarchate established in 2007 the Diocese of Spain and Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>The Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Spain and Portugal has 13 deaneries:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Eastern Madrid Deanery: Dean Fr.
