In such conditions specific to man and human nature, the Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Hungary noted, \u201ccame the risen Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn recent years, marked by major changes in the life of the whole world, people\u2019s greatest fear has been that of sickness and death,\u201d the Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Hungary recalled.<\/p>\n<p>In a world overwhelmed by suffering and fear, bishop Siluan said, \u201cfaith in the Good Lord and, above all, the hope of the Christian that not everything ends with death, but the Resurrection of Christ opens new perspectives in man\u2019s endless desire for welfare, peace, quiet and immortality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe too need this assurance, through the personal encounter of each of us with the risen Christ, and during these festive days, we can truly say that we rejoice and bear witness to the whole world about the Lord\u2019s Resurrection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the joy of the Feast of the Lord\u2019s Resurrection cannot be complete without Confession and Holy Communion since \u201cwithout a direct involvement of this kind, we will not be able to progress in the Christian faith.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe other things, however, that are happening in our world, including conflicts and violence between people and nations, are nothing but the fruit of original sin, the desire for domination, selfishness and the other sins that have multiplied among people,\u201d the bishop stressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet us strengthen ourselves in faith and open our hearts to the love of the risen Christ who calls us all to life and love for our neighbour,\u201d urged the Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Hungary in conclusion.<\/p>\n<p>Photography courtesy of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Hungary<\/p>\n<p>Follow us on Twitter: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BasilicaNews\">@BasilicaNews<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In his pastoral letter for Easter 2022, Bishop Siluan of Hungary referred to the constant feeling of fear and uncertainty brought about by the significant changes in the life of the whole world in the last two years.
