After completing their formation, the priests will instruct their parishioners on properly managing waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The sessions follow a protocol concluded at the beginning of the year between the Archdiocese of Ia\u0219i and the National Environmental Guard &#8211; Ia\u0219i County Commissariat.<\/p>\n<p>Three deaneries in Iasi have already had such meetings. The primary topic of discussion was waste management, with an emphasis on selective garbage collection and other topics of relevance, including water, soil, and air quality.<\/p>\n<p>The following two meetings will take place in Pa\u0219cani and H\u00e2rl\u0103u deaneries, according to the information provided to the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bzi.ro\/preotii-si-comisarii-de-mediu-ii-invata-pe-ieseni-sa-recicleze-si-sa-arunce-gunoiul-in-pubele-selectiv-au-fost-foarte-receptivi-4661207\"> local press<\/a> by priest Marius Burghelea, director for labour protection and GDPR at the Archdiocese of Iasi.<\/p>\n<p>According to Christian teaching, the Orthodox Church is concerned with solving environmental problems, urging respect for creation and a joint effort to protect the environment.<\/p>\n<p>In the parishes of the Archdiocese of Bucharest and the Republic of Moldova, the Romanian Orthodox Church has initiated a <a href=\"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/pilot-project-eco-initiatives-in-the-parishes-of-romania-and-the-republic-of-moldova\/?swcfpc=1\">pilot programme for environmental education<\/a>.
