But, with the grace of Christ, with His mercy towards our weaknesses, we will all succeed in being what God wants us to be,\u201d the hierarch emphasized.<\/p>\n<h3>Cara\u0219-Severin<\/h3>\n<p>His Grace Bishop Lucian of Caransebe\u0219 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.episcopiacaransebesului.ro\/stiri\/2023\/03\/tundere-in-monahism-la-manastirea-vasiova-2\/\">tonsured<\/a> rasophore Nun Parascheva at the Holy Prophet Elijah-Vasiova Monastery in Cara\u0219-Severin County.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_421522\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-421522\" style=\"width: 890px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-421522 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_3930_2-890x594.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"594\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-421522\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Diocese of Caransebe\u0219<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Altogether, 12 men and women were tonsured in recent days.<\/p>\n<p>The person who enters the monastery and wishes to become a monastic must first go through two stages: the novitiate and the rasophoria.<\/p>\n<p>The novitiate is a trial period in which the brother or sister spends time in the monastery to figure out if they have an authentic vocation for monasticism.
