University of Vienna (1832 – 1836). Secretary of Bishop Vasile Moga <\/p>\n
(1836 – 1837), priest and archpriest in Bra\u0219ov (since 1837), active <\/p>\n
participant in the Revolution of 1848 (one of the ten secretaries and <\/p>\n
member of the Romanian delegation sent to Vienna), co-founder of the <\/p>\n
Romanian Gymnasium of Bra\u0219ov, (1850), member of the Transylvanian Dieta <\/p>\n
and member of the imperial Senate. In 1865, he becomes the prime titular<\/p>\n
of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Caransebe\u0219, and contributes to the <\/p>\n
movement of the Romanian section of the Seminary of V\u00e2r\u0219e\u021b (1865) and to<\/p>\n
the setting up of many “folk” schools. He laid the foundations of the <\/p>\n
eparchial printing press and library (1885), as well as of the church <\/p>\n
periodical “Foaia diocezan\u0103” (1886). He passed away on 5 February 1889, <\/p>\n
