religious singer, was born in S\u00e2nnicolaul Mare, county of Timi\u0219. <\/p>\n
Gymnasium studies at S\u00e2ntana and high studies at “Preparanderia” <\/p>\n
(pedagogical school) of Arad (1888 – 1892). Teacher in the communes of <\/p>\n
Toracul Mic (1892 – 1894), Comlo\u0219ul B\u0103n\u0103\u021bean (1894 – 1896) and <\/p>\n
S\u00e2nnicolaul Mare (1910 – 1918), school deputy inspector in Arad 181919 –<\/p>\n
1922) and professor of religious music at the Theological Academy of <\/p>\n
Arad (1922 – 1938). He collected musical folklore of Banat. Works: <\/p>\n
Collection of Religious Chants (1906); Book of Religious, Funeral and <\/p>\n
Chants, and Carols, arranged for one or two voices based on the old <\/p>\n
religious melodies (1914); the eight church voices arranged on linear <\/p>\n
notes according to the old tunes used in Banat and Cri\u0219ana (1926 and <\/p>\n
