Studies at &#8220;Saint George&#8221; Seminary of Roman (1928 &#8211; 1936), then at the Faculty of Theology of Bucharest (1936 &#8211; 1941), University Pedagogical Seminary of Bucharest (1941 &#8211; 1942). Deacon (1943), professor at the Theological Seminary of Roman (1943 &#8211; 1948), at the Schools for Singers in Ia\u0219i (1949-1950) and Suceava (1950 &#8211; 1952), then at the Theological Seminary of Neam\u021b Monastery (1952 &#8211; 1975), where he was director from 1952 &#8211; 1961 and 1971-1975.
