April 1978 \u2013 Priest and theology professor COJOCARU HARALAMBIE passed<\/p>\n
away, in Bucharest. He was born on 18 October 1906, at Dealu Mare<\/p>\n
village, county of D\u00e2mbovi\u021ba. Studies at the “Central Seminary\u201d of<\/p>\n
Bucharest, followed by the courses of the Faculty of Roman-Catholic<\/p>\n
Faculty of Strasbourg (1927 \u2013 1932). In 1940 he was awarded the title of<\/p>\n
doctor in Theology at Chi\u0219in\u0103u, and then did research studies in<\/p>\n
Strasbourg (1936) and Berlin (1938 \u2013 1939). He functioned as professor<\/p>\n
locum tenens at the Theological Seminary of Ismail (1932- 1934), then as<\/p>\n
supervisor, inspector of studies and deacon at the boarding house of<\/p>\n
the Faculty of Theology of Chi\u0219in\u0103u 81934 \u2013 1937). Later on he was<\/p>\n
employed as lecturer in Church law, at the Faculties of Theology in<\/p>\n
Chi\u0219in\u0103u (1937 \u2013 1941) and Bucharest (1941 \u2013 1948). From 1948 \u2013 1952, he<\/p>\n
worked as lecturer at the chair of Exegesis of the New Testament, at<\/p>\n
the Theological Institute of Bucharest. He served as priest at the<\/p>\n
church of “Patriarch Miron\u201d of Bucharest (1940 \u2013 1978). In 1962, the<\/p>\n
Military Court of Bucharest sentenced him to five years prison. <\/p>\n
