away in Bucharest (buried at Boroaia, county of Suceava). Studies at the<\/p>\n
Theological Seminary of Dorohoi, continued at the Faculty of Theology<\/p>\n
of Cern\u0103u\u021bi; he attended, in parallel, the courses of the Military<\/p>\n
School of Bac\u0103u, getting the sub-lieutenant degree. Ordained priest (1<\/p>\n
December 1940); servant priest for the parishes of Oniveni (1940 \u2013 1941)<\/p>\n
and Ru\u0219i Ioneasa \u2013 Oniceni II (1941 \u2013 1946); transferred to Boroaia<\/p>\n
parish (1946 \u2013 1948); followed by the Security forces, he lived hidden<\/p>\n
for several years (1948 \u2013 1964); he returned to Boroaia parish (1965 \u2013<\/p>\n
1972); tonsured into monasticism with the name Ilarion (1973), then<\/p>\n
ordained archimandrite; father confessor at the Monasteries: Antim (1973<\/p>\n
\u2013 1977), C\u0103ld\u0103ru\u0219ani (1977 \u2013 1979), Cernica (1979 \u2013 1999).<\/p>\n
