May 1742 \u2013 Archpriest and historian RADU TEMPEA II, son of priest Radu<\/p>\n
Tempea I passed away. He studied at the school near the church of “Saint<\/p>\n
Nicholas\u201d in \u0218cheii Bra\u0219ovului, then he became a teacher too, and in<\/p>\n
parallel deacon (1713); priest at the same church (ordained on 19<\/p>\n
February 1718 in Bucharest, by Antim Ivireanul), then archpriest of<\/p>\n
Bra\u0219ov and of \u021aara B\u00e2rsei (ordained, December 1735), operating till his<\/p>\n
death; defender of Orthodoxy and the Romanians rights in \u0218cheii<\/p>\n
Bra\u0219ovului. He wrote The History of the Holy Church of \u0218cheii Bra\u0219ovului<\/p>\n
from 1484 to 1742 (remained in manuscript), with many deeds he himself<\/p>\n
lived. The book was drafted by Sterie Stinghe in 1899 and by Octavian<\/p>\n
