in Spineni, county of Olt. Lower Seminary in Arge\u0219 (1874 \u2013 1878) and<\/p>\n
Central in Bucharest (1879 \u2013 1882), Faculty of Theology in Cern\u0103u\u021bi<\/p>\n
(1886 \u2013 1890), with a doctor\u2019s degree in 1891). Professor at the<\/p>\n
Seminary in Curtea de Arge\u0219 (1883 \u2013 1886), substitute professor (1891),<\/p>\n
temporary (1892), then titular (1895) at the chair of liturgies,<\/p>\n
pastoral, homiletics, and catechises at the Faculty of Theology of<\/p>\n
Bucharest, when he worked till his death; dean of the Faculty (1913 \u2013<\/p>\n
1915), director of the Office of the Metropolitan See of Ungro-Wallachia<\/p>\n
(1893 \u2013 1896); he set up and supervised “Vocea Bisericii\u201d magazine<\/p>\n
(1894 \u2013 1896); he made many travels of study to European countries and<\/p>\n
to the Near East. His main work is “The liturgical treasure of the Holy<\/p>\n
Orthodox Church of the East\u201d, 3 volumes (1910 \u2013 1912), with over 1200<\/p>\n
pages; courses of catechetics and homiletics; studies and articles in<\/p>\n
