11 June 1884 – Seminary professor ZAHARIA BOERESCU passed away in Bucharest. Studies of theology in Vârșeț. He activated as professor at the “Central” Seminary in Bucharest (1837 – 1843; 1864 – 1866), at the Seminary of Curtea de Argeș (1843; 1851-1864), as well as at the schools of Caracal (1843 – 1845), and Giurgiu (1845 – 1848). He drafted seminary manuals, in manuscript, for Dogmatics, Pastoral, Church History and Gospel Interpretation.
