The 64 victims who lost their lives in the 2015 Colectiv rock club fire were commemorated Tuesday at St Nicholas Brosteni Church in Bucharest, marking three years since the tragic event.
The service was officiated in front of the Colectiv fire memorial which was unveiled in 2016.
Over 500 people were on October 30, 2015, at the Colectiv nightclub when a fire broke out causing the death of 64 and injuring over 200 persons.
Right after the tragedy, the Romanian Orthodox Church started helping the wounded and the families of the victims.
An Orthodox priest arrived at the nightclub together with the first rescue crews to comfort and pray for the victims.
