Patriarchal Blessing for the Red Cross Volunteers and Members of the Romanian Orthodox Physicians and Chemists Association (A.M.F.O.R in Romanian)

Today, 28 October 2013, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church awarded the Red Cross volunteers and the members of Romanian Orthodox Physicians and Chemists Association.

His Beatitude awarded them the Homage Diploma of Saints Emperors Constantine and Helen and congratulated them for the activity developed during the pilgrimage organised on the occasion of the celebration of the dedication day of the Patriarchal Cathedral.

“We congratulate you because you were many. Having been a week day today only a part could come of those who worked on behalf of the Red Cross – district 4 and of the Romanian Orthodox Physicians and Chemists. It is a great joy for us that the pilgrimage went off in normal conditions and that was due both to the cooperation between the organisers of the event at the Patriarchate and at the Archdiocese of Bucharest and to these very important teams. Your presence there was a blessing at night time or when the pilgrims were very tired, as well as your help providing them warm tea or medical assistance” His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel said.
